Reservations are accepted upon receipt of ˝ the weekly rental fee and signed lease agreement. Final payment and security deposit due 30 days prior to arrival date. Person named on Lease must be present during entire stay and is fully responsible for the actions of those in his group. Pets are welcome provided they are CLEAN AND WELL-BEHAVED. If you plan to bring a pet, we must be notified in advance and written authorization is required. There will be an additional $195 pet fee applied. This pet fee does not cover any damage caused by your pet. Damages will be applied to your security deposit. Please be mindful of your pet and, if necessary, crate your pet when leaving unattended. We would like to keep our home open to pet-loving families. Please do not do anything that would cause us to rethink our pet policy. Security Deposit of $500 is required. Payment of security deposit due 30 days prior to arrival date along with final payment. Security deposit will be refunded, provided no damages have been found, within 30 days of departure. Cancellation Policy: RENTAL DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. In case of cancellation, transfer or change in your reservation, NO REFUND WILL BE MADE unless the unit is re-rented for the canceled period and the OWNER IS FULLY COMPENSATED. You will be charged a 15% cancellation fee if the unit is re-rented. Check In/Check Out: On arrival date, check in is at 3 PM. On departure date, check out is at 10 am. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. Late departure will result in fine. See Lease for details. Occupancy Maximum is 8 people. More than 8 people on the premises is grounds for immediate termination of Lease with NO REFUND of rent. This rule is strictly enforced. Property may not be sublet. Equipment: Dishes, cookware, silverware, glassware, coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, TVs, VCRs, pillows, bedspreads, gas grill, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and deck furniture are provided although not guaranteed. You will need to bring bed linens (3Q, 2F, 1Tw), bath linens, paper products, beach towels and beach chairs. Parking: 6 parking spaces are provided for your convenience. Although if you have large vehicles, they may take up more than one space, thereby reducing your parking capacity. Property Condition: Property must be left in the same condition as it was received. This means that all furnishings are placed in the appropriate location and all beds are made with the comforter/bedspread provided. All trash is removed from inside and outside property and placed in appropriate receptacles. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in partial or complete loss of security deposit. Cleaning: There is an $85 cleaning fee in addition to the rental amount. A cleaning service will arrive upon your departure; however, leave the unit as you would someone’s home. If the unit is excessively dirty, any additional fees charged by the cleaning service will be withheld from the security deposit. All food items must be removed from the refrigerator/freezer and cabinets. All trash must be bagged and placed in outside trash receptacle. All dishes must be cleaned and stored properly. Any stains on the carpet will result in a minimum of $100 carpet cleaning fee. Smoking Policy: There is a strict NO SMOKING policy in effect inside the unit. Smoking in the unit will result in a $100 fee to be withheld from the security deposit. If smoking outside, do not smoke near opened windows that would allow smoke to enter unit and make sure you dispose of butts properly. We charge a minimum $25 clean up fee if cigarette/cigar butts are not disposed of properly. Proper Conduct: No loud music or any loud noises will be tolerated. This is grounds for immediate eviction with no refund of rent. This is not a party house/neighborhood. You are welcome to enjoy the unit in a calm, adult fashion. A responsible adult (lease holder) must be present at all times. All occupants must abide by the Dewey Beach Town ordinances, which include a strictly-enforced noise ordinance. Any violations/fines/penalties levied on owners as a result of non-compliance to these regulations will be withheld from the security deposit and immediate termination of Lease will result. Alcohol: No kegs are permitted anywhere on the premises. No underage drinking will be tolerated. Lease: Signed lease must be received with ˝ of weekly rental fee before a reservation is accepted.
